Abstract
Several of the North Sea oil fields produce depositions (scale) on the inside of production equipment with enhanced concentrations of natural radioactivity. This may cause internal and external exposures to personnel working with contaminated equipment. This phenomena has also resulted in storage- and classification problems of the low radioactive waste. 40 refs., 33 figs., 20 tabs.
