Abstract

The problem is discussed if there exists one-to-one correspondence between the EMC-like behaviour of inclusive spectra of n-mesons in the back hemisphere at x < 1 and the form of the parton structure function of a cold nucleus, extracted from the data on deep inelastic lepton-nuclear scattering in the same values of x. The behaviour of the cross section for the cumular pion on a deuterium and other light is treated within the hot scheme of the process. 36 refs.; 5 figs.
