Abstract
Data on production of heavy quark flavours which do not agree with the results of QCD perturbation theory have been discussed. Nonperturbative mechanism of charm production which qualitatively explains the experimental data and apparently dominated in the range of low p < or approx. 1 GeV is suggested. 13 refs.; 2 figs.
