Abstract

NEMO 2 is a national energy research programme for the evaluation, development and promotion of new and renewable forms of energy. NEMO 2 is one of the energy research programmes of the Finnish Ministry of Trade and Industry for the years 1993-1998. In NEMO 2 -programme, new energy technology is developed as a whole in close collaboration between industry, universities and research institutes, as well as with customers and consumers. The overall budget of NEMO 2 is close to 125 MFIM (1 dollar = 5.7 FIM, Nov. 1993). The main emphasis of the programme is on wind and solar energy
