Abstract
The seminar has been organized for summary scientific results of projects supported by Polish State Committee for Scientific Research (KBN) in the field of material engineering and electronic materials in 1994. The seminar has been divided into 5 sessions. Session A has been devoted to semiconductor materials and collect the projects on monocrystals epitaxial layers and measuring methods. Session B - technologies of stratified materials - has summarized the projects on thin layers sensors, thick layers technology, light-sensitive materials, glass and covers. At session C - metals, ceramics and composites - chemical preparations and properties of new materials has been reported. At session D - materials for optics and optoelectronics - the technologies of monocrystals for laser techniques, inorganic crystals, glass fibres and fullerenes preparation have been described. Session E has been devoted to conclusions and material engineering and electronic materials in Poland.
