TY - JOUR TI - Sterilization of small-size media by gamma--irradiation AB - An application of the radiopasteurization method to the culture media of laboratory size was investigated. The radiation dose necessary to diminish the cell counts of the media to 10/sup 00/-3/sup 00/ per 10 ml was found to be not exceed 3,500 krad. Several properties of the irradiated media were also examined in comparison with the autoclaved and tydallized media.
