  "description" : "The purpose of the invention is the creation of a heating device for preheating heating oil by which a range of oil supply extending over an order of magnitude can be covered without special setting and which can be simply backfitted into existing oil burner plants. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a plate-shaped heating element made of cold conductor material with a Curie temperature of between 120 and 220/sup 0/C being provided in the heating device for heating any quantity of oil in the range 0.3 to 2.5 litres/hour. A cold conductor material with a specific resistance of 12 kOhm cm is used. The heat sink is made so that it can easily be fitted to an oil transport pipe. Several numerical examples are given.
