"description" : "The 'Red lists' (covering endangered species) document shifts in the spectrum of animal and plant species in the Federal Republic of Germany which have occurred in the course of the recent decades and are controlled by two superimposed factors: entrophication and - to a less general impact - draining. Three different trends account for entrophication: active (fertilizers, liquid manure deposition) and passive (nitrogen containing pollutant inputs) nutrient inputs and reduced nutrient output or withdrawal by extensive pasture and litter harvesting, for instance. Passive nutrient input is of major significance in woodlands and open sites without intensive cultivation.",
