In this paper I would like do describe a formulation of the complex angular momenta in potential scattering based on the Lippmann-Schwinger integral equation rather than on the SchrÃ¶dinger differential equation. This is intended as a preliminary to the paper by SAWYER on the Regge poles and high energy limits in field theory (Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes), where the integral formulation is definitely more advantageous than the differential formulation.
