Logo Usage Policy
The DOE STEM logos should only be obtained directly from the download links on this page, or from Powerpedia (accessible on the DOE network only). Only unaltered usage is permitted. Usage does not require explicit permission. The logos shall not be used in any manner that falsely implies employment by, or affiliation with, DOE STEM or the U.S. Department of Energy. Additionally, the DOE STEM logo may not be used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to endorsement of products or services.
Logo Description
The DOE STEM logo includes a circular beam graphic, stylized text (uppercase "DOE STEM" and "U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY"), and in some versions, a "DISCOVER THE WORLD OF ENERGY" tagline.
To ensure high visibility and uncluttered presentation, always maintain a minimum clear space around the DOE STEM logo. To determine the minimum clear space, measure .5" from the top, right, bottom, and left portions of the logo. The clear space will change depending on the size of the logo.
The minimum size is 1.62" wide (155.5px).
