Molten carbonate fuel cell matrices
Abstract
A molten carbonate fuel cell including a cathode electrode of electrically conducting or semiconducting lanthanum containing material and an electrolyte containing matrix of an electrically insulating lanthanum perovskite. In addition, in an embodiment where the cathode electrode is LaMnO3, the matrix may include LaAlO3 or a lithium containing material such as LiAlO2 or Li2TiO3.
