Abstract

A nuclear reactor comprising a cylindrical active portion, a fixed reflector around the active portion having equally spaced apertures therein parallel to the longitudinal axis of the active portion, and rotatable cylindrical bodies in each of these apertures including parallel neutron reflector portions and parallel neutron absorber portions are described.
