NUCLEAR REACTOR FUEL-BREEDER FUEL ELEMENT
Abstract
A fuel-breeder fuel element was developed for a nuclear reactor wherein discrete particles of fissionable material are dispersed in a matrix of fertile breeder material. The fuel element combines the advantages of a dispersion type and a breeder-type. (AEC)
