Title: FASTENER FOR AN ASSEMBLY OF PLATES

Abstract

A fastener is provided for a spaced-apart parallel plate fuel assembly. The fastener, attached by screws to a key that passes through the edges of the assembled plate, serves as a retainer for the outermost plate as well as a bidirectional spacer for separating the fuel assembly from two neighboring fuel assemblies.
