Abstract
Thermal Energy Storage (TES) Design Code is intended as an engineering design tool for determining the necessary parameters in designing a phase change composite based thermal energy storage module(s). TES Design Code allows input of engineering and thermodynamic quantities, such as physical dimensions, thermal quantities (e.g. heat capacity and conductivity), heat transfer fluid properties and layout/circuiting of heat exchange tubes within a phase change composite.
