Abstract
SymPACK is a parallel direct solver for sparse symmetric systems of linear equations. SymPACK is implemented for large- scale distributed-memory platforms. It employs several innovative ideas, including the use of an asynchronous task paradigm, one-sided communication, and dynamic scheduling.
