Materials Data on ScHgPd2 by Materials Project
Abstract
ScPd2Hg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScPd2Hg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Sc–Pd bond lengths are 2.25 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Hg atom. The Pd–Hg bond length is 2.76 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
