Title: Materials Data on Zr by Materials Project

Abstract

Zr is Hg_xSn structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zr is bonded to eight equivalent Zr atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing ZrZr8 hexagonal bipyramids. There are six shorter (3.01 Å) and two longer (3.04 Å) Zr–Zr bond lengths.
