Materials Data on Al2CrFe by Materials Project
Abstract
CrFeAl2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CrFeAl2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Cr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Al atoms. Both Cr–Al bond lengths are 2.63 Å. Fe is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Al atoms. Both Fe–Al bond lengths are 2.40 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cr and one Fe atom.
