Title: Materials Data on Mg2HgPt by Materials Project

Abstract

Mg2PtHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2PtHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Hg atom. The Mg–Pt bond length is 2.44 Å. The Mg–Hg bond length is 2.81 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
