Materials Data on Cs2O2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Cs2O2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cs is bonded to seven equivalent O atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing CsO7 square pyramids. There are a spread of Cs–O bond distances ranging from 3.02–3.64 Å. O is bonded to seven equivalent Cs atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing OCs7 square pyramids.
