Materials Data on Nd3Eu by Materials Project
Abstract
EuNd3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded to twelve equivalent Nd atoms to form EuNd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent EuNd12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent NdNd8Eu4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent EuNd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent NdNd8Eu4 cuboctahedra. All Eu–Nd bond lengths are 3.72 Å. Nd is bonded to four equivalent Eu and eight equivalent Nd atoms to form NdNd8Eu4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NdNd8Eu4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent EuNd12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent NdNd8Eu4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent EuNd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent NdNd8Eu4 cuboctahedra. All Nd–Nd bond lengths are 3.72 Å.
