Title: Materials Data on Ba2MgTl by Materials Project

Abstract

Ba2MgTl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2MgTl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Tl atom. The Ba–Mg bond length is 3.49 Å. The Ba–Tl bond length is 3.23 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
