Title: Materials Data on La2MgHg by Materials Project

Abstract

MgLa2Hg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgLa2Hg ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Both Mg–La bond lengths are 3.28 Å. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Hg atom. The La–Hg bond length is 3.10 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
