Title: Materials Data on U2I2N by Materials Project

Abstract

U2NI2 is Cyanogen Chloride-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of one U2NI2 cluster. U is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one N and one I atom. The U–N bond length is 1.99 Å. The U–I bond length is 2.88 Å. N is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent U atoms. I is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one U atom.
