Title: Materials Data on BaO10 by Materials Project

Abstract

BaO10 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mcc space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two hydrogen peroxide molecules and two BaO8 sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. In each BaO8 sheet, Ba is bonded in a hexagonal bipyramidal geometry to eight equivalent O atoms. All Ba–O bond lengths are 2.78 Å. O is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one Ba and one O atom. The O–O bond length is 1.28 Å.
