Title: Materials Data on BeAlPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

BePt2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BePt2Al ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Be–Pt bond lengths are 2.09 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Al atom. The Pt–Al bond length is 2.30 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms.
