Title: Materials Data on LiGePt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

LiPt2Ge crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiPt2Ge ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Li–Pt bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Ge3+ atom. The Pt–Ge bond length is 2.22 Å. Ge3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms.
