Title: Materials Data on AlFeIr2 by Materials Project

Abstract

FeIr2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two FeIr2Al ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Fe is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms. Both Fe–Ir bond lengths are 2.26 Å. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to one Fe and one Al atom. The Ir–Al bond length is 2.33 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ir atoms.
