Title: Materials Data on AlNiPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

NiPt2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NiPt2Al ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ni1+ and one Al3+ atom. The Pt–Ni bond length is 2.33 Å. The Pt–Al bond length is 2.26 Å. Ni1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Al3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms.
