Title: Materials Data on Tb3Np by Materials Project

Abstract

NpTb3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Np is bonded to twelve equivalent Tb atoms to form NpTb12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NpTb12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent TbTb8Np4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent NpTb12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent TbTb8Np4 cuboctahedra. All Np–Tb bond lengths are 3.49 Å. Tb is bonded to four equivalent Np and eight equivalent Tb atoms to form TbTb8Np4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent TbTb8Np4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent NpTb12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent TbTb8Np4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent NpTb12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent TbTb8Np4 cuboctahedra. All Tb–Tb bond lengths are 3.49 Å.
