Materials Data on TbHSe by Materials Project
Abstract
TbHSe crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb3+ is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent H1- and six equivalent Se2- atoms. All Tb–H bond lengths are 2.23 Å. All Tb–Se bond lengths are 2.97 Å. H1- is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Tb3+ atoms. Se2- is bonded to six equivalent Tb3+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner, edge, and face-sharing SeTb6 pentagonal pyramids.
