Title: Materials Data on BiSe by Materials Project

Abstract

BiSe crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two BiSe sheets oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Bi2+ is bonded in a distorted T-shaped geometry to three equivalent Se2- atoms. There are a spread of Bi–Se bond distances ranging from 2.74–3.06 Å. Se2- is bonded in a distorted T-shaped geometry to three equivalent Bi2+ atoms.
