Title: Materials Data on Cs2AuCl by Materials Project

Abstract

Cs2AuCl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Cs2AuCl ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Cs1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au1- and one Cl1- atom. The Cs–Au bond length is 3.40 Å. The Cs–Cl bond length is 3.15 Å. Au1- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cs1+ atoms. Cl1- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cs1+ atoms.
