Materials Data on PmGd3 by Materials Project
Abstract
Gd3Pm is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Gd is bonded to eight equivalent Gd and four equivalent Pm atoms to form GdPm4Gd8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent GdPm4Gd8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent PmGd12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent GdPm4Gd8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent PmGd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent GdPm4Gd8 cuboctahedra. All Gd–Gd bond lengths are 3.57 Å. All Gd–Pm bond lengths are 3.57 Å. Pm is bonded to twelve equivalent Gd atoms to form PmGd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PmGd12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent GdPm4Gd8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PmGd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent GdPm4Gd8 cuboctahedra.
