Materials Data on Mg2ZnGa by Materials Project
Abstract
Mg2ZnGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2ZnGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zn and one Ga atom. The Mg–Zn bond length is 2.69 Å. The Mg–Ga bond length is 2.64 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
