Title: Materials Data on Be4InCu by Materials Project

Abstract

Be4CuIn is Hexagonal Laves-derived structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Be is bonded to six equivalent Be, three equivalent Cu, and three equivalent In atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing BeBe6In3Cu3 cuboctahedra. There are three shorter (2.23 Å) and three longer (2.28 Å) Be–Be bond lengths. All Be–Cu bond lengths are 2.64 Å. All Be–In bond lengths are 2.65 Å. Cu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Be and four equivalent In atoms. All Cu–In bond lengths are 2.76 Å. In is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Be and four equivalent Cu atoms.
