Title: Materials Data on YZnHg2 by Materials Project

Abstract

YHg2Zn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two YHg2Zn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Y–Hg bond lengths are 3.08 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Y and one Zn atom. The Hg–Zn bond length is 2.76 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms.
