Title: Materials Data on Ca2CdGa by Materials Project

Abstract

Ca2CdGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2CdGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Ga atom. The Ca–Cd bond length is 3.33 Å. The Ca–Ga bond length is 2.87 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
