Materials Data on LaYbPt2 by Materials Project
Abstract
YbLaPt2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 3.09 Å. La2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All La–Pt bond lengths are 3.09 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Yb2+ and four equivalent La2+ atoms.
