Materials Data on CsNbC6 by Materials Project
Abstract
CsNbC6 crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of one cesium molecule and one NbC6 framework. In the NbC6 framework, Nb5+ is bonded in an octahedral geometry to six equivalent C1- atoms. All Nb–C bond lengths are 2.18 Å. C1- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Nb5+ and one C1- atom. The C–C bond length is 1.26 Å.
