Materials Data on Li2TlF2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Li2TlF2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/amd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to four equivalent F atoms. There are a spread of Li–F bond distances ranging from 1.83–2.47 Å. Tl is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to two equivalent F atoms. Both Tl–F bond lengths are 2.66 Å. F is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Li and one Tl atom.
