Materials Data on ZnNi by Materials Project
Abstract
NiZn crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ni is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni and six equivalent Zn atoms. All Ni–Ni bond lengths are 2.59 Å. There are four shorter (2.49 Å) and two longer (2.62 Å) Ni–Zn bond lengths. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ni and four equivalent Zn atoms. All Zn–Zn bond lengths are 2.59 Å.
