Title: Materials Data on CeUFe4 by Materials Project

Abstract

UCeFe4 is Hexagonal Laves-derived structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and twelve equivalent Fe atoms. All U–Ce bond lengths are 3.03 Å. All U–Fe bond lengths are 2.90 Å. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent U and twelve equivalent Fe atoms. All Ce–Fe bond lengths are 2.90 Å. Fe is bonded to three equivalent U, three equivalent Ce, and six equivalent Fe atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing FeCe3U3Fe6 cuboctahedra. All Fe–Fe bond lengths are 2.47 Å.
