Title: Materials Data on Li(RhO2)3 by Materials Project

Abstract

Li(RhO2)2RhO2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two rhodium molecules; four water molecules; and one Li(RhO2)2 sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. In the Li(RhO2)2 sheet, there are two inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent O2- atoms. All Li–O bond lengths are 1.96 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a rectangular see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent O2- atoms. All Li–O bond lengths are 1.96 Å. Rh+3.67+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two O2- atoms. Both Rh–O bond lengths are 1.92 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Li1+, one Rh+3.67+, and one O2- atom. The O–O bond length is 1.49 Å. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Li1+, one Rh+3.67+, and one O2- atom. The O–O bond length is 1.49 Å.
