Materials Data on CaCdSn by Materials Project
Abstract
CaCdSn is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ca is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Cd and six equivalent Sn atoms. All Ca–Cd bond lengths are 3.04 Å. All Ca–Sn bond lengths are 3.51 Å. Cd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ca and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Cd–Sn bond lengths are 3.04 Å. Sn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ca and four equivalent Cd atoms.
