Title: Materials Data on Rb2Pd by Materials Project

Abstract

Rb2Pd is Fluorite structured and crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb is bonded to four equivalent Pd atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing RbPd4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Rb–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.54–3.58 Å. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Rb atoms.
