Title: Materials Data on BaSrN by Materials Project

Abstract

BaSrN is trigonal omega-derived structured and crystallizes in the trigonal R3m space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of three BaSrN sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Ba is bonded in a distorted T-shaped geometry to three equivalent N atoms. All Ba–N bond lengths are 2.75 Å. Sr is bonded in a distorted T-shaped geometry to three equivalent N atoms. All Sr–N bond lengths are 2.67 Å. N is bonded to three equivalent Ba and three equivalent Sr atoms to form edge-sharing NBa3Sr3 octahedra.
