Materials Data on Sr4CuO2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Sr4CuO2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/amd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded in a distorted L-shaped geometry to one Cu and two equivalent O atoms. The Sr–Cu bond length is 3.11 Å. Both Sr–O bond lengths are 2.42 Å. Cu is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Sr atoms. O is bonded in a square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Sr atoms.
