Materials Data on Eu4Al by Materials Project
Abstract
Eu4Al is Iron carbide-like structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of eight Eu4Al clusters. Eu is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Al atom. The Eu–Al bond length is 2.99 Å. Al is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Eu atoms.
